SNOW. for the first time this year. Really.

It's snowed a lil this season, but it hasn't 'stuck' around. Heheh. Pun. Okay so Cedar had a white christmas this year, literally. The snow stuck around for more than a few hours. In fact, you could say we had a blizzard. That wasn't a pun this time.

Anyway it's obvious to say this year Christmas was a bit different. It was still good, but it was just strange not being "home." The house we are in now is just kitty corner to ours and it honestly isn't terrible. There are some real strange things about it, but it's probably the best we could have gotten. The strange things I was referring to were things like the way light switches work. The fireplace and the main room fan don't have switches to turn them on. You have to do it with a remote. The appliances are pieces of ______. The oven doesn't even work. The inside of the house is kinda funk also. The number of arches is over 9000. Probably. It's bigger than ours but I still miss our place.

Living at my grandma's wasn't fun. In fact, it legit sucked. Haha. The time we spent there was like three weeks, all of which there was some sort of construction happening constantly. She was getting flooring replaced and her entire kitchen renovated. So early in the morning if you weren't already awake, there was a free alarm service provided. And it was just awkward. I didn't want to be seen by any of them, which was near impossible. Being there with no wifi was a challenge for sure. Sure missed my Netflix and a quiet house. Of course when it was time to leave, the construction was all finished. I will also add that it was nice not having my brother's boyfriends over all the time.

Anyways, back to Christmas. Like I was sayin, we still had a great one. This is just what I got from "santa" this year. A notable gift was my Polaroid. I also got exercise clothes/shoes, some V.S. and other nice things. All of Christmas day was a blizzard. So, none of us really got ready. I wore an exercise outfit I got and wore a beanie. I didn't do my makeup. I did braid my hair. Later that night I did some online shopping, even after all of the stuff I got. I wasn't the only one though. I got to talk to Mel on Skype, unlike last year. I missed the chance last year. I was slightly embarrassed bc I hadn't gotten ready, but I also didn't care. Our friendship is real. I was so nervous, honestly. Excited but nervous. We had a good chat :)

Well it's basically 2015 now. Whoo! This year should be good, and interesting at that. We hope to move back in by May, which is the end of the semester. Interesting. Moved out at the end of last semester, moving back in at the end of the next. Anyway I don't have fun plans. I'm managing at work tonight, so that should be a good time. And Jessica is home, but I haven't seen her! Her flight was canceled to Cedar because of the bad weather. Regardless, welcome home, Chumpy!
