After a long six months, Orange Julius is now available at DQ! I remember we started talking about it back in January when my fam and I were at our hotel in San Diego. Originally it was supposed to be ready by the first of the summer, but things are much easier said than done. As far as making them goes, it's my new favorite thing because it's easy, it's new, and it's fun. Basically all you have to do is measure out the mixes, pour them into the blender, and...blend! There's also protein powder or coconut almond powder you can add as boosts. They're available in julius originals or fruit smoothie version made with yogurt.
This last Tuesday and Wednesday was our annual shopping trip to Vegas for clothes. We stayed again at SouthPoint. The trip this time was a little easier since it was only 95 instead of 110 degrees. Riding down was also more comfortable in momma's Acura and we made pretty good time in my opinion. We mostly shopped at the Galleria over by the Sunset Station hotel and then the following day we spent at the premium outlets not far from the hotel. Since I'm in college I don't get a new wardrobe but I did get some new shoes, a couple of shirts, and on a random note, a new sticker for my car, custom made with my name in the middle. Basically it's a huge banner that goes across the back of my car.
On our way out of the outlet mall, my mom, me and Kaden stopped at the oxygen bar. We had seen some at the airports and wanted to know what was up. Kade ended up getting oxygen therapy by sticking a tubes in his nose and breathing in and out different flavors...kinda random. The lady tried to convince us to by the portable iPod massager for just over a hundred bucks. She had that and an electric therapy thing for your head. It was a strange stand with some unique things.
We stopped in St. G at In N Out before heading back home. Man was that the best burger I ever had. I'm addicted to the spread. Our hamburgers (that I like) are sad in comparison to theirs.
After the vegas adventure, I was very happy to see our home. It was five when we pulled up in the drive way and let mrs. out. She rolled and rolled and rolled on the drive way followed by sniffing our suitcases and things. I spent a good couple hours getting my stickers off my car and putting on the new one. I will admit that the letters "I Play" on the back were a pain to get off because they didn't peel off, rather they were the kind that turned into powder after a thousand scrapes. If I had any nails before doing that, they are gone now.
