Hello June. It's nice it's June. The weather sure is nice. What am I going to write about this time around? What am I doing with my life? My last post I felt like I had a lot going on. That trend has long since died down. Basically I spend my days working, exercising, and spending the afternoon outside doing something. Sure, it's really laid back and easy but to be honest, I kinda miss having the challenges of school. I just don't have a lot to do... Most of my friends are on a mission. I do have a few good ones around that aren't married or on a mission so we get together sometimes.
I love waking up to emails on Monday. Reading those gems is something else. They're so full of the Spirit. I've been thankful to have been able to update the blogs and edit the pictures. Pictures are something I've always been particularly thankful for. A memory brought to life, if you will. I have a collage of my friends and I on my wall that I look at everyday. We're more than half way down now. I can only hope the remaining months will come and go, as I am sure they will.
So the new DQ is supposed to open next week. Spending time in it makes the other one on Main look old school, at least in the inside. I'm super grateful for my awesome co workers. We're all getting to be tight even with all of the newbies we've hired. I think they're all doing fine. Thankfully they're starting to make things and move up to drive thru. Makes things a little easier for me and the other "seniors." :))
I'm still goin strong in my area of study, nutrition. I haven't looked at anything from this last semester I learned... Maybe I should. I get this idea to study for the classes I'm scheduled to take in the fall, then I don't. I almost want to.
I'll tell ya one thing that doing the Lord's work is something I'd be willing to do anytime. Just from baptisms for the dead, I know what true happiness feels like. I can only imagine what my friends feel. I've considered going countless times, I really have. I just feel like that there's some things that could be a hazard for me though. I won't say any specifics. But I know with all I have that it's the whole reason why we are here on earth. I leave my faith in Him. All will be revealed some day when it's time.

Happy May! {why this didn't get posted until now, I'm not sure}
Happy May! I survived finals. Biology really kicked my trash on that last exam. Genetics isn't exactly my thing...although I didn't exactly study a ton for it either so...
Another semester down, and summer is here yet again. So some things I learned this time around include:
Another semester down, and summer is here yet again. So some things I learned this time around include:
- You can never study too much. Ever.
- I value sleep more than I think
- I LOVE my major, even if the classes are difficult. Seriously I love studying food.
- My job is harder some days than others, but in all honesty, I do like doing it.
- Every class basically expects you to know the material like it's your profession in life.
- I'm not gonna mention any specifics, but dang, Heyborne.
Well to start the summer with a BANG, me and a few friends spent some time in Sand Hollow on the 5th of this month. While it was a pretty good time, it was windy. I was chewing sand while I drove us all home. The water was so cold...so cold that you'd get numb and then turn hot Kara and I braved it anyway. We still swam pretty close to shore, and we came upon a rock large enough for us to do "The Little Mermaid" on it. Part of your Worlllllllllld. Haha.
Then after that...well not really much! I spend my days playing a lot of Animal Crossing/Pokemon Y. I also exercise and do all my other necessities of every day life. I'm looking forward to when we can go back to Sand Hollow on a little nicer conditions. I'm also still workin for my family at our restaurant. Speaking of which, the second location is opening next month. Eeeeeek. While it is exciting, it's terrifying. I'm sure we're probably gonna die.
