Spring Sun

Hello y'all! :)

So as of today there's six weeks left in the semester. Just six. :) This has probably been the fastest year of school I have ever had...even faster than high school. I would say mainly because of all of the fun I've had.

This year's spring break was a bit different. Okay...maybe not. I stayed home again. And I honestly don't mind at all. Sometimes there is just no place like home. :) So I went on a blind double with one of my friends from college. I couldn't believe how well it turned out. You know how awkward those can be. No, um yeah I ended up hanging with my new friend the rest of spring break. Derek is moving here in a couple of weeks from Cortez Colorado. And I'm really looking forward to it.

We had a surprise birthday partay @ Pizza Factory for Gram Gram. I have decided that surprise parties are perhaps the best way to celebrate anything. Act like you're not going to do anything then have a huge party. Her face...made it totally worth it. I will say it was really neat to have some of her old friends from high school come from up north just for it. They were all really kind people and I even got into a really good conversation with Vicky.

Anyways...hoping I finish out this semester strong! Today was actually a great day back :) Amazing what a few sleeping in days do to ya.

Oh, hi March. When did you get here?

"Oh ya know, I come every year about the same time. I usually bring some pretty decent weather to help melt all the snow."
Me: "You mean like today? Cause today was like 60 degrees. SO FRIGGIN NICE. I missed that."
"Ya. And don't worry, there will be plenty more days like that."
Me: "oh goody! Maybe the winter blues will finally leave."

Another good week. I had probably the best birthday I think I've ever had. For dinner I chose french toast, bacon, and orange Julius. This year was kind of quiet; I had my two best buddies and my immediate family over. I did get some visits from my grandmas earlier that day, too. I to my surprise got pitch perfect, my camera satchel, and lots of fun and money. What more could I possibly ask for?

Now that tis March, I realize that this year probably has been one of the quickest. I really do think that when you're constantly living a happy life, the days might seem long, but the months are what really fly. I have definitely come a long way since my friends have moved back into town. Honestly, we have hung out nearly everyday since August. If I ever get into a serious relationship, I'll know what it's like. Boyfriend? Eh, who needs em? When you have some best friends, that's all you need!

 I cannot think you enough for all the fun I've had. I honestly haven't ever been this happy with previous friends. I have learned so much from you. I just want you to know that you have been such a good influence to me and I honestly believe I've become a better person just from spending time with you guys. Know that I'll always love you. :) I'm very happy/proud/excited for you to go on your missions-wherever they may be!

Spring break is next week. ...What am I gonna do with myself? Eh who knows. I'm sure I'll find somethin to do with my free time. Photoshoot? Make videos? All will depend on sche weather.
